At 13 years old, Donaldson began uploading YouTube videos under the username "MrBeast6000". His early videos included Let's Plays as well as videos that estimated other YouTubers' riches. In 2017 his "counting up to 100,000" YouTube video went viral. He was 13 years older and was using the username "MrBeast6000".
