Jacques Bermon Webster II, born April 30 1991, is known as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott), the American rapper, singer and songwriter. His stage name is that of a loved uncle and is also the first name given to Kid Cudi, his inspiration (whose real name was Scott Mescudi). In 2012, Scott signed his first major label deal with Epic Records. He also signed a publishing contract for GOOD Music with Kanye West. He signed a joint recording agreement with Epic and T.I. His Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first album, Owl Pharaoh was self-released on his own in 2013. In 2013 Scott self-released his debut full-length album, called Owl Pharaoh. He was followed by Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was his first studio album by the artist. The smash single "Antidote" was the lead track. His second album entitled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first top-ranked album on the Billboard 200. Scott's second album, Birds in the Trap: Sing McKnight (2016), was an album that was a collaboration with Quavo. It was titled Huncho Jack Huncho and included his first Billboard Hot 100 single, "Sicko Mode" with Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records album JackBoys debuted on the Billboard 200 in late 2019. Following the release of his single "Franchise", which featured Young Thug and M.I.A., Scott was in a position to release the compilation album JackBoys. Scott was the first performer on the Hot 100 to have three songs reach number one within one year.
